File download into appdata/local/temp get different size

There is no Temporary Downloads folder in Windows 10, your browser sets where your downloads are stored - accessible through settings in your browser. If this does not answer your question, please explain exactly what files you are looking for and I will direct you to where they get stored.

I have read here that the temp download files are a "copy" of the files I have downloaded and will not effect i. Hence, more confusion as you said there is "no temporary downloads folder" - if there isn't then why is there a massive file called "Temporary Downloads" listed under storage? How can I view what is in this file? I just want to know how to view what is in there so I can pick and choose what to delete to see if it will actually effect my games that I obviously don't want to screw up.

Hmmm, has anyone suggested looking at your hard drive with Treeview a free app from Jam Software. Select your drive in Treeview and give it a few seconds to work out where all your space is being used on your HDD. It will let you view these 20GB of file s , figure out what they are and where they are stored. If so, it is not a different 'download' folder, it is the same one that appears on your 'desktop' if you have the shortcut , and in Windows Explorer, to view these files open the normal 'Download' folder.
